(MONTREAL, QC – JANUARY 14, 2016) Visit the Lexus booth and discover “Amazing” at the 2016 Montreal International Auto Show – January 15-24 at the Palais des Congrès.

“Our portfolio of luxury vehicles is stronger than ever, with a greater choice of luxury cars and SUVs – highlighted this year by our all-new GS F high-performance luxury sport sedan,” said Jennifer Barron, Director of Lexus Canada. “All of our 2016 Lexus models embody passionate styling, inspiring innovation and dynamic performance, plus the Lexus reputation for quality and an exceptional ownership experience.”

Highlights at the Lexus display include:

2016 Lexus GS F

This is the year that the GS gets the “F” series treatment – as the all-new 2016 Lexus GS F makes its Canadian debut. The needle is buried in the red for this latest addition to the Lexus F series of high performance luxury sports cars – tested and proven on some of the most challenging racetracks in the world. The GS F combines world-class, track-proven speed and agility with the opulence and refinements of a four-door luxury sedan.

2016 Lexus CT 200h Special Edition

The CT 200h Special Edition is being built in very limited quantities, combining the performance and styling enhancements of the Lexus F SPORT performance models with unique exterior and interior styling and an exclusive colour scheme. This exclusive model combines sophisticated curb appeal, a refined interior and the advanced power and efficiency of the Lexus Hybrid Drive.

New Engines for IS and RC

Lexus offers more choice than ever before, with new models joining the 2016 lineup – including the Lexus IS 200t and Lexus IS 300 AWD in the popular IS series entry luxury sedan line, and the Lexus RC 300 AWD in the RC series of luxury sport coupes. It’s now easier than ever for Lexus guests to find the perfect balance of power, performance and efficiency.

2016 Lexus LX 570

The Lexus flagship SUV received a major update for the 2016 model year – including a new, eight-speed transmission, advanced safety technologies such as Lexus Safety System +, and a 360 camera for all-around awareness.

Other “must-see” models

The 2016 lineup includes several updated models, including the ES 350, ES 300h, GS 350 AWD and GS 450h. All of these – along with the entire Lexus portfolio – will be on display in Montreal.

Lexus Design Challenge winners

This auto show also features the debut of the winning design from the 2016 Lexus Canadian Design School Challenge. Students of Canadian design schools were challenged to create an installation for the all-new 2016 Lexus RX 350 display.

The winners – Stephanie Brennan, Monica Mahar and Shyronn Smardon – are in their final year of studies at Capilano University’s Illustration and Design Program. Their submission – PULSE: Layered Luxury – received the $5,000 first prize and will showcase the RX 350 at auto shows across Canada this year.
