 Lexus dealership pursues LEED Silver Certification
 
[RICHMOND, B.C.] – Lexus Richmond today officially opened the doors to its new $18 million dealership, designed to be as luxurious as it is sustainable.  Located at 5631 Parkwood Way in Richmond, B.C., the almost 70,000 square foot facility – featuring the largest indoor showroom in Canada - hopes to achieve LEED Silver Certification in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.

Lexus Richmond will showcase the latest in Lexus products, making use of its 18-vehicle showroom, spanning two floors. Featuring valet service, 18 service bays, six detailing bays and four new vehicle delivery bays, Lexus guests can be assured of fast, convenient service experiences. While visiting the dealership, guests can take advantage of its luxurious onsite amenities, including a Lexus lounge complete with massage chairs, a 60-inch satellite television, computer work stations, wireless internet, complimentary beverages and a serene outdoor patio. The onsite caf features organic and sustainable fare from OnePlanet Catering.
 
Guests of Lexus Richmond can view the full range of Lexus product in the impressive showroom, from the made-in-Canada RX 350 luxury SUV, to the IS series of luxury sedans. Lexus offers the first and largest line-up of luxury hybrid models, designed to suit any lifestyle, including the all-new CT 200h – the world’s first luxury hybrid sportback. Delivering performance, advanced technology and a more sustainable motoring experience, the versatile Lexus Hybrid Drive system is currently offered in five hybrid models across a range of 4, 6 and 8 cylinder configurations, as well as front, rear and all-wheel-drive applications.
 
The new dealership facility employs over 50 staff, and will continue to support the local community. Since 1990, Lexus Richmond has been a regular supporter of local food banks and charities including the B.C and Yukon Make-A-Wish Foundation, and sponsors several other charity events, including the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation Golf 4 Kids tournament, the HK Canada Business Association Golf Classic, and the PwC & Richmond Auto Mall's 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament.
