Lucky attendee at Canadian International Auto Show could win an all-new 2013 Lexus GS

“Win the Perfect Moment” contest is major promotion for Lexus car that epitomizes progressive luxury

(TORONTO) – The all-new 2013 Lexus GS will be getting a lot of attention at the Canadian International Auto Show through a promotion that includes a “Win the Perfect Moment” contest in which one entrant will drive away with the vehicle.

“We can’t wait for everyone who comes to the auto show to see how the 2013 Lexus GS continues to define progressive luxury with a fresh, evocative design,” said Larry Hutchinson, Senior Executive Director of Lexus in Canada. “The winner of this contest will have a truly ‘perfect moment’ the first time he or she drives this car. The new GS combines bold, dynamic styling, precise handling, innovative technology and a spacious interior.”

The promotion – conducted in partnership with the Canadian International Auto Show, Global TV, CHFI (98.1FM) and the National Post– also includes:

dedicated floor space featuring two all-new 2013 Lexus GS vehicles on display;

tower pylons with Lexus branding at the National Postbooth display;

two minutes of looped videos, featuring various Lexus vehicles, displayed on the large LED screen at the Front Street entrance to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC);

nine aisle signs throughout the show to promote Lexus and the contest;

Lexus branding and video loops prominently displayed at six “iGreeter” stations, with the greeters themselves having the Lexus logo on their uniforms; and

direct support from the media partners.

To enter the contest, which runs from February 17-26, auto show visitors can stop by the Lexus “Win the Perfect Moment” display, located in the North Building at the MTCC, and submit an electronic ballot by using an available computer. Alternatively, people can submit a paper ballot outside the main entrance to the MTCC, or enter online via the website of the National Post (www.nationalpost.com/perfectmoment).

On February 26, after the auto show concludes, 20 finalists will be selected in a random draw of all eligible entries. The next day, CHFIwill select the winner in a random draw among the finalists to be aired live on the radio. The person whose name is chosen will have 10 minutes to call and claim their prize.

The Lexus GS 350 is priced to be the most competitive choice in its segment, proving that all-new engineering, luxurious features, performance-enhancing technology and an engaging driving experience can cost less than one might think. From its signature spindle grille to its LED brake lamps, the GS 350 is richly appointed. All-new for 2013, it has a fresh exterior design complemented by a more luxurious and spacious interior.
