[Barrie, Ontario] – Lexus of Barrie broke ground today on a new, $7 million dollar state-of-the-art dealership that will open its doors at 281 Mapleview Drive West. With a 22,000 square foot facility, Lexus of Barrie is expected to employ 30 associates when it opens to the public in spring 2010, and will be committed to providing guests with the full Lexus experience in new vehicle sales, Lexus Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales, as well as parts and service operations.
A groundbreaking ceremony took place today to celebrate the arrival of Lexus of Barrie. Representatives from Lexus and the City of Barrie, including Mayor David Aspden, were in attendance. More details on the grand opening gala will be shared closer to the official opening in spring 2010.
The new dealership will offer its guests a 12-vehicle showroom, a unique indoor delivery area for new owners, 10 mechanical bays and an interior drive-thru for added convenience, plus a luxurious leather and wood guest lounge. Innovative and energy-efficient lighting design and an indoor air quality control system will further enhance the customer experience at Lexus of Barrie.
