The 2015 Lexus ES 350 and ES 300h: Leave an Unforgettable Impression

(TORONTO, ON – October 10, 2014) The 2015 Lexus ES is the elegant sport sedan. Available in gasoline and hybrid-powered models, the ES series is designed to excite the senses of the most discerning individuals.

For the ES series, Lexus designers created a body that is both elegant and sporty. With its dramatically sculpted signature Lexus spindle grille, road-hugging stance, and clean continuous styling lines from front to rear, the ES evokes a sense of powerful but composed movement. This carefully crafted exterior has also been designed to maximize aerodynamics, too. The result is a luxury sedan with impressive fuel efficiency, a remarkably quiet cabin, and superior ride comfort.

Inside, the ES series is surprisingly spacious, with ample leg and head room for up to five passengers. Luxury comfort and convenience features create a welcoming, relaxing environment, while artistic touches such as genuine stitching on leather surfaces delight the senses. Intuitive technologies make driving the ES a pleasure, every time.

 From behind the wheel, the superb driver focus is evident. A sculpted seat featuring a seat memory system and 10-way power adjustments holds the driver in ergonomic comfort, while front seats are heated and ventilated. The long, layered instrument panel places information directly in line of sight. Command and control zones are located on – or within easy reach – of the beautiful wood and leather steering wheel.

The available Lexus Remote Touch Interface puts common controls for navigation, audio, climate settings and more within each reach and may be operated with minimal distraction for a safer and more seamless driving experience.

The ES 350 features an advanced 268 peak horsepower 3.5L V6 mated to a six-speed electronically controlled transmission for impressive acceleration, smooth shifts, exceptional fuel efficiency, and optimized performance at all speeds.

The ES 300h features the Lexus Hybrid Drive, built around a super-efficient Atkinson-cycle engine, a high-torque electric motor/generator, a powerful storage battery and sophisticated power management systems. The hybrid system delivers a combined 200 Net HP for an engaging driving experience, unmatched fuel efficiency, and extremely low emissions.

Choose a mode to suit the moment. The Drive Mode Select system (ECO-Normal-Sport on the ES 350; EV-ECO-Normal-Sport on the ES 300h) modifies vehicle performance from optimum efficiency to maximum exhilaration. And the instrument cluster changes colour to reflect the mood – from blue (EV and ECO) to red (Sport).

The ES delivers a new benchmark for refined drive comfort, thanks to a carefully engineered suspension architecture. Opposite-wound front coil springs enhance straight-line stability, the rear suspension geometry elevates agility and overall control, and a highly rigid body responds with precision to driver inputs and intentions.
