TORONTO, ONTARIO – NOVEMBER 29th, 2022 – Embrace the finest – the very best that Lexus offers. The LS series flagship sedans deliver prestige levels of performance, comfort, serenity, and craftsmanship. New for 2023, Lexus upgrades all LS series models with the Lexus Interface – a powerful and intuitive system that connects you to what matters in your world.

“The LS was the first Lexus – and has always represented the pinnacle of our abilities to design, engineer, and craft exceptional luxury automobiles. The 2023 LS lives up to that legacy, while the all-new Lexus Interface compliments the next chapter of our story,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “We’re thrilled to offer our guests a selection of breathtaking models in both gas and self-charging Lexus hybrid electric powertrain configurations.”

The LS series sedan expresses its exhilarating driving experience through a sleek, coupe-like body that fuses exceptional design with impressive aerodynamic engineering. Every feature commands attention – from the daring front fascia, to the LED headlights and rear combination lamps, to the firmly planted stance on large wheels.

The interior is equally inspired, delivering elevated levels of refinement to encourage guests to relish every moment of the journey. Expressing Omotenashi – the art of Japanese hospitality – the interior welcomes driver and up to four passengers at every turn. Unlocking the door automatically positions the seat to ease the driver in or out of the vehicle. Lexus Takumi craftspeople have artfully fashioned an interior that is at once sensual and serene – featuring origami-inspired material designs and ambient lighting reminiscent of Japanese lanterns.

This same care and attention to detail informs performance. The LS series expresses the Lexus Driving Signature – a deeper connection between driver and vehicle.

  • The conventionally powered LS 500 features a 416 peak horsepower twin-turbo V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, capable of launching the vehicle from 0-100  km in just 4.6 seconds.
  • The LS 500h enhances efficiency with the world’s first multi-stage self-charging hybrid electric powertrain. Generating 354 net horsepower, this system accelerates the vehicle from 0-100 km in 5.5 seconds while still targeting class-leading efficiency. The LS 500h is fitted with “M-Mode”, enhancing the continuously variable transmission with 10-speed “automatic transmission simulated shift control”, enabling the driver to select and hold gears manually using steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

All LS series flagship sedans are equipped with full-time all-wheel-drive to enhance traction and handling across a range of driving conditions. F SPORT models feature a specially-retuned suspension to provide a more sporty driving experience.

New this year, every LS model is now equipped with the Lexus Interface. This features a 12.3” touch screen, intuitive touch and voice activation controls, and a full range of connected services – including Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect. Other technology features include Lexus App integration, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and Bluetooth connectivity.

As a Lexus, every LS series model also features an impressive package of advanced safety technologies – including Lexus Safety System + 2.5 or Lexus Safety System + A, a backup camera with back guide monitor, the Blind Spot Monitor system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, 10 airbags, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
