Lexus asked Canadians to name the best roads for driving in Canada: Visit lexusroads.ca to see which made the top 15 list and vote for your favourite

Website not only names the roads, it provides a rich interactive experience for learning more about them

TORONTO, ON., (December 20, 2013) – Lexus has always been obsessed with producing vehicles that give our guests excellence in vehicle design and performance.

But for a driving experience to be truly remarkable, one needs both an exceptional car and the ideal place to drive it.

In that spirit, we wanted to find out which roads in Canada offer drivers the best experience, so we undertook a comprehensive social media campaign to have Canadians tell us what they think. We’ve now tallied all the input and invite all drivers to visit lexusroads.ca to see the top 15 roads. Our next step is to collect votes from all visitors to the site to determine Canada’s number-one road.

The site serves as a great tourism tool for anyone interested in exploring Canada. You’ll find interactive maps, text commentaries to provide details of what makes each road so special, and the chance to see street-level photos to get a taste of the driving experiences.

“Creating this website has been a lot of fun, but it also represents a valuable extension of the Lexus brand,” said Cyril Dimitris, Director of Lexus Canada. “All year long, we’ve been supporting design with a variety of initiatives under the theme of ‘Amazing in Motion’ and by bringing attention to roads with some pretty spectacular designs, the website is a great extension of that concept. And most importantly, it’s an opportunity to give something back to our guests so they can enjoy their Lexus luxury vehicles just that little bit more.”

To vote for your favourite and learn more about Canada’s best roads, visit lexusroads.ca.
