Put “advanced, bold, refined” in your driveway for a remarkable price

2013 Lexus LS 460 features world firsts, fresh style, dynamic performance and technology – all for a price that’s lower than the 2012 model

(TORONTO, ON – November 1, 2012) Precision engineering and exquisite craftsmanship at a price that delivers more moments of delight: the 2013 Lexus LS 460 flagship luxury sedan is arriving at Canadian Lexus Dealers, with a suggested price starting at $82,950.
“The beautifully refined Lexus LS 460 is bolder than ever, featuring our new signature spindle grille, an even quieter, top-of-class cabin, and enhanced driving dynamics – including an all-new F Sport edition,” said Cyril Dimitris, Director of Lexus in Canada. “We’re pleased to offer our guests an advanced interpretation of luxury, with more intuitive features, more comfort, and refinement that is uniquely Lexus. And we have added this content and value while offering the LS 460 at a suggested starting price that’s better than last year’s model.”
The 2013 Lexus LS 460 features enhanced style, interior refinement, and updated standard equipment – including the new spindle grille; 19” alloy wheels, a 12.3” display; nu-luxe premium interior trim; an available five-setting Drive Mode Select system including the new Comfort Mode; a new pelvic support system on the driver’s seat; and the second-generation Lexus Remote Touch haptic system for intuitive control over various vehicle systems.
The new LS has an available Climate Concierge system for ultimate driver and passenger comfort. It’s also the first Lexus equipped with: the Advanced Illumination System; a rear seat entertainment system with Blu-Ray player; analogue clock with GPS function; and an exclusive, genuine leather-wrapped Smart Key. New seat ventilation and heating systems are faster than ever, too.
Available equipment includes the world debut of the Advanced Pre-Crash Safety System and the Lexus debut of noise-reduction wheels.
All models feature a 4.6L 8-cylinder engine and 8-speed Super ECT automatic transmission with sequential multi-mode shifter. Lexus master craftsmen tune this combination to each vehicle to maximize performance and efficiency – delivering a peak 360 HP in all-wheel drive models and 386 HP in rear wheel drive models. A full suite of Lexus handling systems, including Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, work in concert with steering, suspension and braking systems worthy of a prestige auto to ensure the LS 460 driver may harness the full potential of the vehicle with confidence.
With premium leather seat surfaces, automatic climate control, a 16-way power adjustable driver’s seat with memory system and more, comfort is assured. And every model is generously equipped with genuinely useful and user-friendly technology such as a voice-activated navigation system and intuitive parking assist.
Safety is always standard on a Lexus, so every LS 460 features a suite of eight airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and force limiters, a tire pressure monitoring system, and on-board first aid kit. Every Lexus LS 460 also features, as standard, a suite of six active safety technologies: Antilock Braking System, Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control and Smart Stop Technology work together to help drivers avoid potential accident situations.
