Lexus ES 350 MSRP - $39,500 :: ES 300h MSRP - $43,900

Toronto, ON (August 2, 2012) – The next-generation, 2013 Lexus ES sedan rewards drivers with a bold new design, dynamic performance, intuitive technology, and true luxury, – and does so at a suggested retail price that will surprise and delight Canadian guests.

“Every trip in the new ES delivers a moment of achievement – of personal satisfaction – that rewards the driver at every stage. And we’re pleased to offer this experience to Canadian guests at a new price that makes true luxury even more attainable,” said Larry Hutchinson, Senior Executive Director of Lexus in Canada. “With performance enhancements, signature styling and the Lexus attention to detail, plus the first ES to be offered with a choice of conventional or hybrid powertrains, the 2013 ES establishes a new standard for luxury and refinement.”

The 2013 ES 350 starts at a suggested retail price of $39,500, which is $2,650 less than the MSRP on 2012 models. The 2013 ES 350 features fresh styling, a longer wheelbase and improved handling. A more spacious cabin presents a feeling of openness and security, with improved rear seat headroom and legroom. Enhancements for 2013 include new seat designs for even greater comfort, a second generation Remote Touch controller for additional convenience and top of the line safety systems. The ES 350 may be further enhanced with a choice of four luxury upgrade packages.
With the introduction of the 6th generation ES, a hybrid model has been added to the ES line-up for the first time. The all-new 2013 ES 300h brings the performance, efficiency and comfort advantages of the Lexus Hybrid Drive  with a suggested retail price starting at $43,900. The ES 300h delivers the same advanced styling, handling and luxury as its conventionally-powered stable-mate, plus remarkable fuel efficiency –at 4.8L/100km (city/highway combined) – the ability to operate on electric power only for short distances, and superb emissions performance. The ES 300h may be further enhanced with a choice of three upgrade packages.

“Since its introduction to Canada in 1990, the ES has been a core model for the Lexus brand and has been a top selling Lexus passenger car in the last five years,” Mr. Hutchinson noted. “The new ES inherits this model’s DNA for comfort and elegance, and builds on its track record of success with a revitalized, smart design and class-leading efficiency that reflects a new chapter of progressive luxury at Lexus.”
