Lexus of Lakeridge Celebrates Grand Opening of Spectacular New Facility

TORONTO, ON., January 30, 2017 – An exciting new beginning for Lexus of Lakeridge launches today, January 30, as doors officially open at the new 73,000-square-foot dealership in Ajax, just east of Toronto.

The new site – located at 180 Achilles Road – is composed mostly of glass to give it a profoundly bright and airy feel. That includes three glass showroom areas, spaciously displaying 35 vehicles in natural light. In addition, among an array of other special elements integrated into the building, are a living green roof and state-of-the-art lighting, heating and cooling systems. There’s even a striking Lexus Jewel Box hovering 80 feet in the air for all Highway 401 commuters to see.

Most importantly, many innovations have been introduced that promise to significantly enhance the Guest experience from the moment they arrive at the site. All exterior ramps and surface areas have radiant heating to ensure safety and comfort, while advanced wireless technology means Guests will be recognized and welcomed as staff are instantly notified.  This focus on hospitality continues as Guests move indoors, with a facility that can accommodate up to 120 vehicles, including a three bay delivery centre on the upper level. From the vehicle drop-off and service department to the state-of-the-art detail shop and underground storage, the new Lexus of Lakeridge facility will ensure Guests receive the luxury experience they deserve.

While waiting on site for work being done at the facility’s 15 service bays and nine-vehicle drive-through, Guests can watch television screens to monitor the progress of service on their vehicle. And best of all, they’ll be able to relax and enjoy an espresso and fresh food cooked daily by a full-time chef (and seating for over 90 people) at Café Lexus.

Initially, the dealership will have a staff of 22 employees, which will grow to 40 within the first year of operating the new location.
