TORONTO, November 20, 2024 – Approaching its 25^th year in the Lexus lineup, the IS continues to be the luxury sport sedan that’s provocative in design, agile in performance, and a feast for the senses. For 2025, the IS lineup broadens its available options with a new limited edition. Offered in a total of 11 grades built around three distinct powertrains, the Lexus IS puts performance front and centre.

“To create the ultimate driving experience, the IS was developed, tested and proven on our Shimoyama Test Track in Japan – a world-class, 5.3 km test bed of curves, grades, and multiple surfaces that enabled us to create the Lexus Driving Signature,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “The result is a sedan that forges deeper connections between the driver, the vehicle, and the road, and we’re excited to invite new Canadian Guests to this luxury sport sedan that pushes performance to the limits.”

Lexus offers the IS series in three distinct powertrains, as follows:

• Six IS 300 AWD grades feature a 3.5L V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, tuned to produce 260 peak horsepower and up to 236 lb-ft of torque. This model features the Lexus dynamic torque all-wheel-drive system for elevated confidence and control.


• Two IS 350 AWD grades feature the same 3.5L V6 engine, six-speed automatic transmission and AWD system. The IS 350’s powertrain is tuned to produce 311 peak horsepower and up to 280 lb-ft of torque.


• Three IS 500 RWD grades feature a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 and direct shift eight-speed automatic transmission. This rear-wheel-drive model delivers 472 peak horsepower and up to 394 lb-ft of torque, and is capable of launching the IS from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

The 2025 Lexus IS expresses its thrilling performance through its low and wide stance, its bold front fascia, and its muscular silhouette. Every feature and form speaks to this luxury sport sedan’s athletic abilities. Sleek headlamps emphasize the vehicle’s low centre of gravity while sharp character lines and muscular fenders define its profile. At the rear, a unique, L-shaped blade-style light bar spans the vehicle – creating a dynamic lasting impression. And each IS model rides on grade-specific wheels.

Inside, the IS welcomes up to five adults to a cabin in which sporty touches and intelligent amenities abound. Front row seats trimmed in NuLuxe are designed to stir the soul and inspire the desire to drive, holding the driver and navigator in firm comfort during long trips and spirited adventures. Every 2025 IS features advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Interface including Service Connect and Safety Connect. Other technology features include display audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and integrated Sirius XM Satellite radio.

As a Lexus, every IS is impressively equipped with state-of-the-art safety features. All models are fitted with Lexus Safety System + 2.5 – a portfolio of Lexus active safety technologies. Other standard safety systems include the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, the Lexus Star Safety System, 10 airbags, a backup camera, an on-board first aid kit, anti-theft alarm system, and a tire pressure monitor system.

Lexus offers Canadian Guests a choice of 11 IS grades. The first three are built on the IS 300 AWD, as follows:

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD Premium welcomes guests to the Lexus luxury sport sedan experience. This model features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with an 8-inch touch screen, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, a power moon roof, heated steering wheel, and integrated garage door opener.

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD Luxury enhances the Premium grade, adding a 10.3-inch touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, 19-inch alloy wheels, a driver’s seat memory system, heated and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors, a power tilting / telescoping steering column, and clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake.

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD Ultra Luxury builds on the Luxury grade, adding a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, and the Panoramic View Monitor system.

Three additional IS 300 AWD grades feature more aggressive Lexus F SPORT styling, as follows:

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT DESIGN features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with an 8-inch touch screen, heated front seats, a power moon roof, heated steering wheel, 19-inch F SPORT alloy wheels, the F SPORT Exterior Appearance Package, and a rear spoiler.

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT 2 builds on the F SPORT DESIGN grade, adding numerous upgrades. These include a 10.3-inch touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, a driver’s seat memory system, F SPORT interior design enhancements, instrumentation inspired by the Lexus LFA Super Car, a power tilting / telescoping steering column, heated and ventilated front seats, an integrated garage door opener, clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking. New this year, this model now features power-folding, heated, and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors plus black window surrounds.

The 2025 Lexus IS 300 AWD F SPORT 3 enhances the F SPORT 2 grade with a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, and the Panoramic View Monitor system.

Lexus offers the more powerful IS 350 AWD in two grades:

The 2025 Lexus IS 350 AWD F SPORT 2 features a 10-speaker Lexus Display Audio system with a 10.3-inch touch screen, Lexus Navigation with Remote, a power moonroof, 19-inch F SPORT alloy wheels, F SPORT exterior and interior design enhancements, instrumentation inspired by the Lexus LFA Super Car, a driver’s seat memory system, power adjustable front seats, heated steering wheel on a power tilting / telescoping steering column, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Lexus Smart Key System with Push Button Start, clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking. New this year, this grade is now equipped with power-folding, heated, and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors.

The 2025 Lexus IS 350 AWD F SPORT 3 enhances the F SPORT 2 grade’s performance and amenities. This model receives a Dynamic Handling Package, which includes updated 19-inch forged BBS wheels, the Lexus Adaptive Variable Suspension system, and Drive Mode Select system with SPORT+ Mode. This model also receives a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, triple beam LED headlamps, the Panoramic View Monitor system, and a rear spoiler.

Rounding out the choices, Lexus offers the IS 500 in three high-performance grades:

The 2025 Lexus IS 500 F SPORT PERFORMANCE features the Dynamic Handling Package, including the Lexus Adaptive Variable Suspension system and Drive Mode Select system with SPORT+ Mode, plus 19-inch Enkei gloss black wheels and a Torsen limited slip differential. Other features include a power moon roof, triple beam LED headlamps, 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, IS 500 tachometer cluster, heated steering wheel on a power tilting / telescoping steering column, driver’s seat memory system, dual zone automatic climate control, the Panoramic View Monitor system, and clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake. New this year, this grade is now equipped with power-folding, heated, and auto-dimming exterior memory mirrors.

The 2025 Lexus IS 500 F SPORT PERFORMANCE + builds on the F SPORT PERFORMANCE grade, adding the Panoramic View Monitor system and clearance and back up sensors with parking support brake.

New for this year, the 2025Lexus IS 500 SPECIAL APPEARANCE PACKAGE enhances the F SPORT PERFORMANCE + model with new 19-inch forged BBS wheels, an Ultrasuede interior with yellow stitching, and an exclusive Flare Yellow body colour.
