TORONTO, December 16, 2024 – Experience a new world of luxury – with generous room for everyone – in the 2025 Lexus TX series three-row SUV. New for 2025, Lexus expands the TX lineup with two new models showcasing F SPORT performance and style – providing Canadian guests with a choice of ten grades. With a choice of traditional gasoline or hybrid-electric powertrains, every TX features all-wheel-drive, incredible handling, and an unmatched driving experience – plus remarkable space for people and cargo.
“With the TX, Lexus designers have created a true three-row SUV that ensures every seat is the best seat,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “This year, we’re thrilled to bring Lexus F SPORT performance-focussed design to the TX 350, with two all-new models. With ten TX grades built around two powertrains, the TX represents the next chapter of Lexus SUVs and takes luxury to a completely new level.”
The TX series sets a new bar for cabin space. The serene interior of this three-row luxury SUV caters to comfort and convenience in every seating position. In the front seats, a dual-opening console lid conveniently allows the driver and passenger to open the left and right sides independently. Grade-specific cabin configurations offer a choice of two captain seats with centre console, or a 60:40 split folding three-person bench seat, for six- or seven-person capacity. Access to the third row is made easier with a slide assist walk-in mechanism. Meantime, every TX offers plenty of storage space – including enough room behind the third row for seven carry-on suitcases. And when there’s a need to haul more cargo, the power folding third-row seats can be stowed to open up 57.4 cubic feet of space. Still need more room? Fold the second-row seats and expand the available space to 97 cubic feet.
The TX is about more than space. Comfort is also enhanced via a sophisticated body design that prioritizes aerodynamic performance – which also contributes to efficiency and handling stability. TX expresses its sophisticated style through numerous details – including headlights linked via a narrow aperture beneath the hood’s leading edge, and a low-set grille that forms a seamless spindle shape while also resulting in a sleek face that enhances aerodynamics.
The Lexus TX is built on the GA-K platform, which provides a low centre of gravity while optimizing weight distribution. A wide, well-planted stance, accented by large wheels, conveys the TX’s remarkable driving performance and stability. A highly rigid body structure minimizes noise, vibration, and harshness so the cabin remains quiet through virtually any driving scenario.
Under the hood, the TX offers two powertrain options to ensure there’s a perfect blend of performance and efficiency for every Guest.
All models feature trail mode, a drive mode select system, and other advanced Lexus handling and control technologies.
Every 2025 TX is impressively equipped with advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Interface. This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible multimedia and connectivity system features a 14-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and Sirius XM Satellite compatibility. The Lexus Interface incorporates a natural language virtual assistant that enables a voice-first approach to navigation, media, communication, and other vehicle features. In addition, all Lexus Interface connected services may be controlled from a smart phone equipped with the Lexus App.
As a Lexus, every TX is impressively equipped with state-of-the-art safety features. All models are fitted with Lexus Safety System +3.0 – a portfolio of Lexus active safety technologies that supports the driver’s awareness and decision-making under a range of traffic conditions and contingencies. Other standard safety systems include the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Safe Exit Assist, eight airbags, a backup camera with Back Guide Monitor and camera washer, Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking, and the Rear Seat Reminder system.
Lexus offers Canadian Guests a choice of ten distinct TX grades, starting with four TX 350 models that emphasize comfort and luxury:
