LEXUS ANNOUNCES CANADIAN PRICING OF 2026 LEXUS RZ SERIES

• 2026 Lexus RZ all-electric SUV delivers more power, more dynamic performance, and offers greater efficiency

TORONTO, NOVEMBER 3, 2025 – The carbon-neutral future is beautiful, exhilarating – and here today. The Lexus RZ – the first pure battery electric luxury vehicle to benefit from the industry’s electrification leader – has been significantly updated for 2026 and an expanded lineup offers even more choices for Lexus Guests seeking to embrace a luxury BEV experience designed for the real world.

“When we introduced the first RZ in 2023, it embodied all of the Lexus pillars – combining evocative design, the Lexus Driving Signature, plus electrification, and our advanced yet intuitive multi-media and connectivity technology. And this year, we’ve taken this successful formula and improved it in a broad range of ways,” said Martin Gilbert, Director of Lexus Canada. “From more models and more dynamic performance, to longer range and faster charging times, the Lexus RZ is better than ever before.”

For 2026, Lexus has developed a five-model RZ lineup – including the first front-wheel-drive RZ for Canada and a performance-oriented F SPORT edition with higher output powertrain. With greater choices, the 2026 RZ is designed to meet the needs of a broader range of Guests – from those who prioritize daily convenience and practicality to those who want a more exhilarating and dynamic driving experience.

Every 2026 RZ benefits from an extensive list of engineering and design enhancements. These start under the hood, with a redesigned battery electric system. Key enhancements include the introduction of a new, lithium-ion battery, which increases battery capacity to 76.96 kW. This enables higher output from the electric motors on the RZ’s newly-engineered eAxles. Meantime, an updated water-cooling system for the powertrain and battery helps maximize output.

All-wheel-drive models benefit from a newly refined version of the Lexus DIRECT4 system which delivers improved traction performance and driving stability. This system has been optimized for drive force and posture control in all situations – from straight line acceleration to cornering or spirited manoeuvres.

For peace of mind, all EV components including the battery are warrantied for eight years or 160,000 km.

The 2026 RZ adopts the North American Charging System (NACS) charging port, which lets it take advantage of thousands of high-speed charging stations across Canada. Under ideal conditions, when using DC fast charging, the RZ can go from 10 percent to 80 percent battery charge in around 30 minutes. The RZ also includes Level One and Level Two AC charging capabilities, enhanced with a higher capacity 11 kW on-board AC charger.

These enhancements also confer improved estimated driving ranges on every 2026 RZ.

These significant improvements are built on the solid engineering foundation that guided the design of the first RZ. With the Lexus Driving Signature as their guiding principle, engineers created a dedicated BEV platform designed to take full advantage of the distinct performance of a pure BEV – including positioning the batteries in the platform to lower the centre of gravity. Engineers increased structural rigidity around the radiator support and added a rear brace that reduces deformation of the body in all directions, resulting in a clean and linear steering response. Meantime, refined front and rear suspension systems improve vehicle dynamics, stability, and ride comfort.

These engineering improvements are wrapped in a body style that captures the RZ’s minimalist, futuristic aesthetic. With no combustion engine to cool, the front presents a fresh, grille-free face and a sleek front bumper. Lexus designers crafted headlamps that highlight the RZ’s bold Lexus L-signature. From the side, a precisely honed character line creates an arrow-like profile to convey the RZ’s personality, while athletic proportions make a bold statement even as they enhance aerodynamic efficiency and handling. The body flares at the rear to express the RZ’s powerful traction. Other notable exterior features include LED daytime running lights, clearance lights, and rear combination lamps, power folding and heated mirrors with integrated signal lamps, and rain-sensing wipers.

Inside, the RZ welcomes up to five adults to a modern cabin informed by a clean design eye and finished with luxury features and intelligent amenities. High-quality craftsmanship is evident throughout. Front seats are power adjustable, while a dual-zone independent automatic climate control system provides year-round comfort. Each model features a grade-specific ambient illumination system that injects the interior with sophisticated flare and contributes to a richer, more immersive experience while driving. New for this year, Lexus offers an improved Dynamic Sky panoramic glass roof, enabling greater shading when opaque and a clearer view of the outside when transparent.

Every 2026 RZ features advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Interface. This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible multimedia and connectivity system features a 14-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and Sirius XM Satellite. The Lexus Interface incorporates a natural language virtual assistant that enables a voice-first approach to navigation, media, communication, and other vehicle features. In addition, all Lexus Interface connected services may be controlled from a smart phone equipped with the Lexus App. Other technology features include multiple USB charging ports, a wireless charging dock for personal electronics, and the Lexus smart key system with push button start.

As a Lexus, every RZ is impressively equipped with state of the art safety features. All models are fitted with Lexus Safety System + 3.0 – a portfolio of Lexus active safety technologies that supports the driver’s awareness and decision-making under a range of traffic conditions and contingencies. Other standard safety systems include the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, eight airbags, Safe Exit Assist with Digital Latch, a backup camera with back guide monitor, rear seat reminder system, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

For its Canadian Guests, Lexus offers the RZ in five distinct grades:

New for this year, the 2026 Lexus RZ 350e Signature is the first front-wheel-drive RZ in Canada. This model’s BEV powertrain generates up to 224 total system horsepower and has an estimated driving range of up to 486 kilometers. Notable features on this model include a 14-inch display audio system with 10 speakers, the Lexus Interface with Service Connect, Safety Connect, and Remote Connect services, a seven-inch full digital gauge cluster, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels in a dark metallic grey and machined finish, ambient interior lighting system, a heated steering wheel on a power-adjustable column, a driver’s seat memory system linked to power-adjustable mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats, NuLuxe upholstery, a dial-type shift-by-wire system, heated and illuminated LEXUS emblem, a wireless charging dock for personal electronics, Drive Mode Select system with Sport, Normal, and ECO modes, a power back door, a decorated instrument panel, and a 1,500-watt AC outlet with deck plug.

The 2026 Lexus RZ 450e AWD Signature builds on the RZ 350e Signature grade, adding all-wheel drive for enhanced year-round driving confidence. This model’s BEV powertrain generates up to 313 total system horsepower and has an estimated driving range of up to 420 kilometers. Offering the same features as the RZ 350e Signature, this model receives several enhancements over the previous year – including a power adjustable steering column, a driver’s seat memory system linked to power-adjustable mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats, a power back door, a decorated instrument panel, and a 1,500-watt AC outlet with deck plug.

The 2026 Lexus RZ 450e AWD Luxury builds on the Signature grade, adding the Lexus Interface with Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect services, a fixed glass panoramic moon roof, a power back door with kick sensor for hands-free operation, 20-inch split spoke alloy wheels in a black and machined finish, door courtesy lamps, Parking Support Brake with object, vehicle, and pedestrian detection, the Panoramic View Monitor, a digital rear view mirror, and a digital key. This model has an estimated driving range of up to 418 kilometers.

The 2026 Lexus RZ 450e AWD Executive enhances the Luxury trim level, adding heated rear seats, a head up display, a 13-speake Mark Levinson Audio system, the Adaptive High Beam system with Dynamic Levelling, the Dynamic Sky panoramic glass roof with dimming feature, untrasuede upholstery including the Lexus-first Ultrasuede door trim with a laser-etched pattern, a high-grade meter cluster, the Advanced Park system, acoustic front and rear side glass, a 64-colour ambient interior lighting system, and 20-inch spilt 10-spoke alloy wheels in a gunmetal finish.

Rounding out the line-up is another new model for this year, the 2026 Lexus RZ 550e F SPORT AWD. This model offers Guests a more exhilarating driving experience, with a BEV powertrain featuring higher output front and rear motors that generate up to 408 total system horsepower and an estimated range of up to 366 kilometers. This F SPORT model – the most powerful RZ to date – also features specially tuned suspension systems that provide a more exhilarating ride. Designed for Guests who demand more direct engagement with their Lexus, this RZ also introduces the first Lexus M Mode system – an electronic system that provides virtual, manual gear shifting via paddle shifters for a sportier, more responsive driving feel. The system features a virtual eight-speed gear setup that determines drivetrain output by combining the virtual power source torque, calculated based on throttle input and vehicle speed, with the gear ratio selected via the paddle shifters. To enhance the experience, the RZ simulates engine and exhaust sounds while a shift guide meter in the instrument display enables drivers to intuitively track gear changes in real-time. This vehicle’s exterior design includes distinctive black F SPORT features such as the F SPORT emblem, rear spoiler, front and rear bumper moldings, and front grille. Special 20-inch F SPORT wheels include blue brake calipers and aero covers, which contribute to weight reduction and help improve energy efficiency by smoothing airflow. Other features on this model include Black Ultrasuede interior trim with blue stitching accents, a centre console with a micro-geometric pattern design, F SPORT scuff plates, F SPORT steering wheel, aluminum pedals and footrests, rear heated seats, a head up display, 13-speaker Mark Levinson Audio system with 14-inch display, the Lexus Interface with Service Connect, Safety Connect, and Remote Connect services, Adaptive High Beam system with Dynamic Levelling, high-grade meter cluster, acoustic front and rear side glass, a digital mirror, the Dynamic Sky panoramic glass roof with dimming feature, the Advanced Park system, a power back door with kick sensor for hands-free operation, and a digital key.
