TORONTO, NOVEMBER 6, 2025 – It’s bold and alluring, with an impressive number of choices to ensure every Lexus Guest can find the perfect RX. For 2026, Lexus Canada expands the RX Series with two new models – offering guests 17 exquisite grades of one of Canada’s most popular luxury SUVs.

Curbside, the RX expresses its sophisticated style with a sleek body design featuring a low, planted stance to support an engaging, modern driving experience. Striking LED headlights bracket the bold, seamless Lexus signature spindle grille, while a light bar at the rear features a pronounced L-design motif. More than beautiful, the body is engineered to enhance the RX’s dynamic handling. The surface strongly flares from the rear doors towards the back wheel wells, evoking the powerful traction produced by the RX’s all-wheel-drive system. Meantime, a precisely honed character line runs from front to rear, creating an arrow-like profile with the flowing roofline to minimize drag, reduce noise, and enhance stability at higher speeds.

For those seeking more aggressive styling, the 2026 RX Series includes several models built around Lexus F SPORT packages. These feature exclusive F SPORT enhancements such as mesh grilles, unique wheels, and interior ornamentation. This year, Lexus expands the choices with the RX 350 F SPORT Black Line.

Inside, the RX provides up to five adults with a cabin devoted to sublime comfort, in an airy environment with a clean, modern aesthetic. Elegant details include laser cut wood and 3D embossed materials. A perfect blend of function, form, and beauty makes the RX cabin an inviting, premium experience, while drivers will welcome the thoughtful design that puts all instrumentation and controls within natural sight and touch.

Because Lexus understands Canadian winters, all RX models feature all-wheel-drive powertrains. And because Canadians have individual needs and lifestyles, Lexus offers its Guests four distinct powertrains for the 2026 RX:

•     The RX 350 features a 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic with sequential shift mode and electronically controlled full-time all-wheel-drive. This powertrain delivers 275 peak horsepower and up to 317 lb-ft of torque.

•     The RX 350 introduces hybrid-electric technology to the RX family. This model features a hybrid-electric system built around a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. This powertrain generates 246 system horsepower and a fuel efficiency rating of 6.5L/100km (city/highway combined).

•     For even  sportier performance, RX 500h models feature a Lexus one-motor hybrid system – a 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine integrated with a high-output electric motor, inverter, and reduction gearbox. This is coupled to a six-speed automatic with sequential shift mode and the advanced Lexus DIRECT 4 all-wheel-drive system. This powertrain generates 367 system horsepower and up to 406 lb-ft of torque for incredible acceleration at all speeds.

•     Rounding  out the choices, Lexus has expanded the RX 450h+ line up with a second model built around a plug-in hybrid electric powertrain. This advanced system features a 2.5L inline four-cylinder intercooled engine, an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission with sequential shift mode, and an electronically controlled full-time all-wheel-drive system. This powerful drivetrain provides luxury levels of performance and consistent acceleration off the line with an estimated 0-100 km/h time of just 6.5 seconds. Its power is matched by equally impressive efficiency – with an estimated fuel efficiency rating of 2.8L equivalent per 100 km combined city/highway. The RX 450h+ has an estimated electric-only range of 60 kilometres (at which point the vehicle seamlessly switches over to self-charging hybrid electric mode) and can be fully charged in as little as two and a half hours.

Every 2026 RX is impressively equipped with advanced yet intuitive technology features, headlined by the Lexus Interface. This Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible multimedia and connectivity system features a 9.8-inch standard or available 14-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and Sirius XM Satellite compatibility. The Lexus Interface incorporates a natural language virtual assistant that enables a voice-first approach to navigation, media, communication, and other vehicle features. In addition, all Lexus Interface connected services may be controlled from a smart phone equipped with the Lexus App.

As a Lexus, every RX comes standard with state-of-the-art safety features, starting with Lexus Safety System + 3.0. The 2026 Lexus RX 350 Ultra Luxury enhances the Luxury package with triple beam LED headlamps with the Adaptive High Beam system, a head-up display, an Advanced Touch steering wheel, and a power back door with kick sensor for hands-free operation. Safety upgrades include the Panoramic View Monitor with cleaner, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert, and a digital rear view mirror.

The 2026 Lexus RX 350 Executive creates the most luxurious RX experience.
